Who we are
 Dr. Ernst Kürsten got his degree in forest sciences at the University of Göttingen. During his career he changed several times between public relations for the forests and their use and scientific research. Finally he worked in the sales department of the BISON company (today: Metso Panelboard), where he got a very interesting look into the Woodworking Machinery Industry. In 1996 he started his own business as an expert for wood (preservation) and scientific journalism. The Deutsche Messe AG, organizing the LIGNA is one of his most important customers. In 1998 together with John Richard Wilson he founded the company Congress-Report GmbH to improve the use of the "new media" (CD-ROM and internet) for the transfer of scientific and technical information. See one of his reports: "German Forestry on the Internet". Dr. Kürsten is an active member of the "Deutsche Gesellschaft für Holzforschung" and the "Verein für Technische Holzfragen", the most important scientific organizations in Germany dealing with wood and the woodworking industry.
 John Richard Wilson was born in England and came to Germany in the seventieth working as electrician for the Royal Air Force. He did some more technical jobs until he startet a new career as computer expert at the BISON company (today: Metso Panelboard), there he met Dr. Ernst Kürsten. After BISON became insolvent he startet his own business in the field of computer networking and internet services.
With our joint knowledge and experiences we now could become ideal partners for foreign companies in the Woodworking Machinery Industry who want to get into the German market.
What we can do for you
We are in the unique situation to offer a complete marketing package to Woodworking Machinery Manufactures who are trying to enter the German speaking market. It is much easier to address potential customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in their mother language, this may include:

Since 1996 Dr. Kürsten is formulating the press releases concerning the LIGNA for the Deutsche Messe AG. Furthermore he wrote a great number of scientific publications and technical reports for some companies and organizations (Blomberger Holzindustrie, Hymmen, VDMA). He could do the same work for your company!
3. Congress-Reports
If you are interested in scientific exchange, Dr. Kürsten could take part in congresses concerning your fields of interest and give reports on them. On the other hand he could also present papers on your products.
4. Representation
All the above mentioned services could nicely be added by devoting Dr. Kürsten & Partners to your representative for Germany or Central Europe. With our office in Hannover, your company could easily be addressed by potential customers.
